Responsibilities

- Identify and analyze emerging technologies with 10-year commercial viability
- Lead patent development and IP strategy for future tech innovations
- Coordinate with venture partners to secure $50M+ in future-focused funding
- Present findings to C-suite executives and board members quarterly
- Build and manage a global network of futurist researchers and innovators
Qualifications
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Future Studies
- 8+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership
- Published research on exponential technologies (quantum, AI, biotech)
- Proven track record of launching future-facing products/services
- Expertise in scenario planning and technology forecasting frameworks
- Strong network connections with DARPA, NASA, or similar institutions
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Strategic Innovation Management
