Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with 2026+ market predictions
- Lead horizon scanning for emerging technologies (quantum, neurotech, synthetic biology)
- Architect innovation frameworks for next-gen digital ecosystems
- Translate future scenarios into R&D priorities and product blueprints
- Partner with venture teams to identify disruptive startups for acquisition
- Present strategic foresight to executive leadership and board members
- Establish cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering/design teams
- Author industry whitepapers on technology evolution trends
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy, innovation management, or futurist research
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Proven experience developing technology roadmaps for 2025+
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum, AR/VR)
- Strong data modeling and predictive analytics capabilities
- Executive communication skills with C-suite experience
- Published thought leadership in technology foresight
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Technology Innovation preferred
