Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive 2026 technology strategy aligned with business objectives and market trends
- Lead research initiatives on emerging technologies (AI/ML, quantum computing, Web3, biotech) and assess their commercial viability
- Architect scalable innovation frameworks for future product development and service delivery
- Present strategic technology roadmaps to executive stakeholders and investors with compelling data-driven narratives
- Build and lead a specialized futurist team of researchers and engineers
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and tech innovators
- Monitor global tech policy developments and advise on regulatory compliance for future technologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or innovation leadership with Fortune 500 or high-growth tech companies
- Proven track record of translating futuristic concepts into commercial products or services
- Expertise in emerging technologies with published research or thought leadership
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Futures Studies, or related field
- Exceptional strategic planning and systems-thinking abilities
- Strong presentation skills with experience addressing executive audiences and boards
- Experience managing cross-functional teams and complex innovation projects
- Certification in futures forecasting or technology trend analysis preferred
