Responsibilities
- Develop 2026 technology roadmaps for quantum computing, AI ethics, and biometric integration
- Lead cross-disciplinary R&D projects spanning blockchain, IoT, and neuromorphic systems
- Anticipate regulatory and ethical implications of emerging technologies through horizon scanning
- Design sustainable tech frameworks balancing innovation with environmental impact
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite executives and industry consortium partners
- Mentor junior futurists in technology forecasting methodologies
- Conduct competitive analysis of emerging tech startups and patent landscapes
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in technology R&D with proven track record in emerging tech
- Expertise in at least three of: quantum computing, AI ethics, blockchain, or neuromorphic systems
- Published research in IEEE or ACM journals on future technology trends
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Strategic Innovation Management
- Demonstrated experience with regulatory compliance frameworks (GDPR, CCPA, etc.)
- Exceptional communication skills translating complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Portfolio showcasing 3+ technology forecasting projects with measurable impact
