Responsibilities
- Forecast and analyze emerging technologies (quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, synthetic biology) with 3-5 year impact assessments
- Develop strategic implementation roadmaps for next-gen infrastructure and digital transformation initiatives
- Lead R&D teams in prototyping and validating futuristic solutions through agile methodologies
- Establish ethical frameworks and governance protocols for responsible tech deployment
- Collaborate with venture partners to identify and acquire disruptive startups
- Present visionary roadmaps to stakeholders and industry forums
- Build and mentor a team of innovation specialists and research scientists
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years in technology strategy or R&D leadership with proven impact on future tech adoption
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurology (PhD preferred)
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (quantum, AI, biotech, etc.)
- Track record of publishing whitepapers or speaking at major tech conferences (AWS re:Invent, CES, etc.)
- Experience scaling technology solutions across global enterprise environments
- Certification in futures research methodologies (e.g., Horizon Scanning, Delphi Method)
- Strong proficiency in data modeling and predictive analytics tools
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful technology foresight projects
