Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning for 2026+ tech trends (quantum, neuromorphic computing, synthetic biology)
- Develop strategic roadmaps for emerging technology adoption in enterprise ecosystems
- Design and prototype future-proof digital infrastructure solutions
- Conduct scenario planning for disruptive technology impacts on global markets
- Partner with product teams to integrate 2026-ready innovations into current pipelines
- Present findings to C-suite and external stakeholders through compelling narratives
- Mentor cross-functional teams on next-gen technology implications
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or futurist roles with proven impact
- Deep expertise in emerging tech domains (quantum computing, AGI, biotech convergence)
- Published thought leadership on future technology scenarios (whitepapers, patents, keynotes)
- Experience architecting scalable systems for complex adaptive environments
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (Delphi, scenario planning, trend analysis)
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ technology foresight projects with measurable outcomes
