Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026 technology roadmaps for quantum computing, neurotech, and AI ethics
- Lead cross-functional 'Future Task Forces' with engineers, designers, and policy experts
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with 3-5 year impact
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite executives and board members
- Author annual 'State of 2026 Technology' industry report
- Mentor next-generation futurists through our Future Leaders program
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or Futurist Studies (or equivalent experience)
- 10+ years in technology strategy with demonstrable impact on 3+ emerging tech domains
- Published thought leadership in top-tier tech journals (Nature, IEEE, etc.)
- Expertise in quantum computing, neurotech, or AI ethics frameworks
- Experience with horizon scanning methodologies (e.g., Delphi, scenario planning)
- Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts for executive audiences
- Security clearance preferred for government partnership projects
- Portfolio of implemented future-tech initiatives with measurable ROI
