Responsibilities
- Design and implement ethical governance frameworks for advanced AI systems deployed by 2026
- Lead cross-functional audits of algorithmic bias and societal impact across neural networks
- Develop predictive models for emerging ethical dilemmas in quantum computing and neurotech
- Collaborate with product teams to embed ethical safeguards in generative AI pipelines
- Author industry position papers on AI rights, digital consciousness, and transhumanism
- Establish global compliance standards for autonomous decision-making systems
- Mentor junior researchers in applied ethics for exponential technologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Ethics, Philosophy, Computer Science, or Cognitive Science with AI specialization
- 5+ years experience in AI governance, algorithmic auditing, or tech ethics
- Expertise in ISO/IEC 42001 and EU AI Act compliance frameworks
- Published research on alignment problems in large language models
- Proficiency in Python for ethical impact simulation and bias detection
- Deep understanding of existential risk mitigation strategies
- Experience testifying before congressional tech ethics committees
- Certification in Responsible AI from Partnership on AI or similar body
