Responsibilities
- Develop and implement ethical governance frameworks for enterprise AI systems
- Conduct bias audits and fairness assessments in machine learning models
- Collaborate with engineering teams to embed ethical safeguards into AI pipelines
- Advocate for transparent AI practices through stakeholder education
- Lead cross-functional task forces on regulatory compliance and risk mitigation
- Author thought leadership on emerging AI policy challenges
- Represent the company at national AI ethics summits and policy forums
Qualifications
- PhD in Ethics, Computer Science, Philosophy, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in AI governance, responsible AI, or technology ethics
- Expertise in regulatory frameworks (EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, etc.)
- Proficiency in auditing ML models for bias and fairness
- Demonstrated experience in policy development and stakeholder engagement
- Strong technical literacy in AI/ML development workflows
- Published research in ethics or technology policy journals
- Security clearance eligibility preferred
