Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive AI ethics governance frameworks aligned with 2026 regulatory landscapes
- Lead cross-functional committees to audit algorithmic fairness, transparency, and accountability
- Partner with product teams to embed ethical safeguards in AI development lifecycles
- Establish industry-wide best practices for AI deployment in sensitive domains (healthcare, finance, defense)
- Represent Nexus at global AI ethics summits and regulatory dialogues
- Design proactive bias mitigation protocols for generative AI systems
- Create stakeholder engagement frameworks for diverse community input on AI policies
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Ethics, Philosophy, Computer Science, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in AI governance, compliance, or technology ethics leadership
- Deep understanding of global AI regulations (EU AI Act, NIST frameworks, etc.)
- Proven experience developing ethical AI policies for Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in algorithmic bias auditing and mitigation techniques
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex ethics to technical teams
- Certification in AI ethics or responsible AI governance (e.g., IEEE, ACM)
- Published research on AI ethics or technology philosophy
