Responsibilities
- Design and implement AI ethics frameworks for autonomous decision systems
- Lead cross-functional audits of machine learning algorithms for bias mitigation
- Develop governance protocols for quantum-AI hybrid computing environments
- Represent the institute at global AI policy summits (2026 UN AI Summit)
- Train engineers on responsible AI development practices
- Partner with regulatory bodies on future-proof AI legislation
- Establish KPIs for ethical AI performance across organizational systems
Qualifications
- PhD in Ethics, Philosophy, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years in AI governance or responsible AI implementation
- Published research on algorithmic fairness or explainable AI
- Experience with ISO/IEC 42001 or similar AI management standards
- Deep understanding of EU AI Act and NIST AI Risk Framework
- Track record influencing tech policy at national/international level
- Expertise in quantum computing ethics (Qiskit or Cirq certification preferred)
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
