Responsibilities
- Design and implement ethical AI governance frameworks for autonomous decision systems
- Conduct bias audits and fairness assessments across machine learning pipelines
- Develop regulatory compliance strategies for evolving AI legislation landscapes
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align technical teams on ethical AI principles
- Author industry whitepapers on responsible AI deployment in high-stakes domains
- Partner with legal teams to establish auditable AI accountability mechanisms
- Monitor emerging AI ethics research and translate findings into actionable policies
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Ethics, Philosophy, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 3+ years experience in AI governance, algorithmic auditing, or ethics compliance
- Deep understanding of ML fairness metrics (e.g., disparate impact, equalized odds)
- Familiarity with global AI regulations (EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, etc.)
- Strong technical writing skills with published ethics frameworks or policy documents
- Experience with adversarial testing of autonomous systems
- Expertise in translating ethical principles into engineering constraints
- Certification in AI ethics or responsible AI (e.g., IEEE, ACM) preferred
