Responsibilities
- Design and implement ethical AI governance frameworks for autonomous systems
- Conduct bias audits and fairness assessments across ML models
- Develop company-wide responsible AI policies and compliance protocols
- Lead stakeholder workshops on ethical AI implementation
- Monitor emerging regulations (EU AI Act, NIST frameworks) and advise on compliance
- Quantify ethical risks through impact assessments and mitigation strategies
- Represent the company at industry ethics summits and regulatory hearings
Qualifications
- PhD or Master's in Ethics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years in AI governance, compliance, or ethics roles
- Expertise in ML fairness metrics (disparate impact, demographic parity)
- Deep understanding of global AI regulations (GDPR, EU AI Act, state-level laws)
- Experience with algorithmic auditing tools (IBM AI Fairness 360, Google What-If Tool)
- Proven ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
- Published research in AI ethics or responsible technology
