Responsibilities
- Design and implement ethical governance frameworks for autonomous systems deployed in high-stakes industries (healthcare, finance, defense)
- Lead cross-functional audits of AI bias, fairness, and transparency across 15+ live model deployments
- Develop industry-leading explainability protocols for deep neural networks exceeding 10M parameters
- Collaborate with UN Global Compact task forces on establishing 2026 AI ethics benchmarks
- Author white papers that bridge academic research and enterprise AI adoption standards
- Mentor junior ethicists while establishing internal certification processes for responsible AI development
Qualifications
- PhD in Philosophy, Computer Science, or Ethics with 5+ years applied AI governance experience
- Published research on algorithmic bias mitigation or explainable AI in top-tier journals
- Expertise in ISO/IEC 42001 and NIST AI Risk Management Frameworks
- Proficiency in Python and TensorFlow for implementing ethical testing protocols
- Experience advising regulatory bodies on AI policy (e.g., EU AI Act, US AI Bill of Rights)
- Track record of developing ethical AI training programs adopted by Fortune 100 companies
- Fluency in cross-disciplinary communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders
