Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive AI ethics frameworks aligned with IEEE 7000 and EU AI Act standards
- Conduct algorithmic bias audits across machine learning pipelines using fairness metrics
- Lead cross-functional ethics reviews for autonomous systems and generative AI products
- Establish stakeholder engagement protocols for ethical AI deployment in regulated industries
- Proactively identify emerging ethical risks in generative AI and predictive modeling
- Create transparency documentation for high-stakes AI decision systems
- Advocate for ethical AI adoption through industry forums and policy development
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Ethics, Philosophy, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years of AI governance experience
- Deep expertise in bias mitigation techniques for ML models (e.g., adversarial debiasing)
- Proven track record in developing organizational AI ethics policies and compliance frameworks
- Familiarity with regulatory landscapes (EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, state privacy laws)
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex ethics concepts to technical teams
- Certification in AI ethics (e.g., IEEE Ethics Certification or equivalent)
- Experience with participatory design methodologies for inclusive AI development
