Responsibilities

- Conduct bias audits and impact assessments for machine learning models
- Partner with engineering teams to implement ethical safeguards in production AI
- Lead stakeholder workshops on responsible AI adoption with industry partners
- Research emerging ethical challenges in generative AI and quantum computing
- Author policy briefs for regulatory bodies on AI governance standards
- Mentor junior researchers in ethics methodologies and critical thinking
Qualifications
- PhD in Ethics, Philosophy, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years AI ethics experience
- Published research in top-tier journals on algorithmic fairness or explainable AI
- Expertise in bias mitigation techniques and model transparency protocols
- Strong background in regulatory frameworks (GDPR, EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF)
- Experience conducting ethical impact assessments for high-stakes AI systems
- Exceptional communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating practical implementation of ethical AI solutions
