Responsibilities
- Design and implement ethical review frameworks for AI systems using NIST and IEEE standards
- Conduct bias audits and fairness assessments on machine learning models
- Develop stakeholder engagement protocols for diverse community feedback
- Create transparency documentation for high-impact AI decision systems
- Advise product teams on ethical risk mitigation strategies
- Lead cross-functional workshops on responsible AI development
- Contribute to industry ethics standards through white papers and conferences
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Ethics, Philosophy, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years experience in AI governance or responsible tech roles
- Expertise in fairness metrics, bias mitigation techniques, and explainable AI
- Deep understanding of global AI regulatory landscapes (EU AI Act, US frameworks)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to evaluate complex ethical dilemmas
- Experience with stakeholder engagement and public policy advocacy
- Publication record in AI ethics or technology ethics preferred
