Responsibilities
- Design and implement ethical governance frameworks for autonomous AI systems
- Conduct bias audits and fairness assessments across machine learning pipelines
- Develop risk mitigation strategies for high-stakes AI applications
- Collaborate with product teams to embed ethical safeguards in development lifecycles
- Author transparent AI impact reports for regulatory compliance
- Lead cross-functional ethics committees and stakeholder consultations
- Research emerging ethical challenges in generative AI and quantum computing
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Ethics, Philosophy, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years in AI ethics, governance, or responsible AI implementation
- Expertise in bias detection tools and fairness assessment methodologies
- Experience with regulatory frameworks (EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF)
- Strong background in machine learning model development
- Published research or practical experience in AI ethics
- Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
- Certification in AI Ethics or Responsible AI (e.g., from IEEE or Partnership on AI)
