Responsibilities
- Develop and implement AI ethics governance frameworks aligned with IEEE 7000 and EU AI Act standards
- Conduct bias audits of machine learning models using fairness metrics and adversarial testing
- Lead stakeholder workshops to define ethical boundaries for generative AI applications
- Author transparency reports for high-impact AI deployments in regulated industries
- Collaborate with product teams to embed ethical safeguards into AI development lifecycles
- Monitor emerging AI ethics legislation and advise on compliance strategies
- Represent the company in AI ethics forums and contribute to open-source ethical toolkits
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Philosophy, Computer Science, Law, or Ethics with 5+ years in AI governance
- Proven experience implementing fairness metrics and bias mitigation in ML pipelines
- Deep understanding of global AI regulations (EU AI Act, NIST RMF, state-level laws)
- Expertise in participatory design methodologies for inclusive AI development
- Strong communication skills to translate complex ethical concepts to technical teams
- Certification in AI Ethics (e.g., IBM AI Ethics, Google Responsible AI)
- Published work in peer-reviewed journals or industry white papers on AI ethics
