Responsibilities
- Lead cross-disciplinary R&D initiatives for next-gen AI applications targeting 2026 market needs
- Develop strategic roadmaps for quantum-ML integration and neuromorphic computing
- Partner with product teams to prototype commercializable AI solutions with 5+ year vision
- Author white papers and keynote presentations at global tech summits (Davos, CES, AI World)
- Mentor PhD researchers in applied AI ethics and responsible innovation frameworks
- Secure $10M+ in government/private grants for forward-thinking AI initiatives
- Establish industry standards for AI safety in autonomous systems and biotech interfaces
Qualifications
- PhD in Machine Learning, Quantum Computing, or equivalent practical experience
- Published 15+ peer-reviewed papers in Nature/Science journals on AI or quantum systems
- Proven track record shipping AI products with >$100M ARR impact
- Expertise in federated learning, transformer architectures, and quantum neural networks
- Deep understanding of emerging tech convergence points (AI+Biotech+Energy)
- Experience securing SBIR grants or equivalent government innovation funding
- Portfolio demonstrating work on ethical AI frameworks and bias mitigation
- Fluency in Python, PyTorch, and quantum programming languages (Qiskit)
