Responsibilities
- Architect AI roadmaps for 2026+ implementation across healthcare, climate modeling, and autonomous infrastructure
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing ethical AI frameworks aligned with emerging global regulations
- Conduct horizon-scanning research to identify breakthrough technologies with 3-5 year commercialization potential
- Design quantum-resistant ML algorithms for next-generation cybersecurity protocols
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite executives and government innovation councils
- Mentor AI ethics fellows and publish thought leadership in Nature/Science journals
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Cognitive Science, or related field with 8+ years AI/ML experience
- Published research in top-tier AI conferences (NeurIPS, ICML, CVPR) or equivalent industry impact
- Expertise in transformer architectures, generative adversarial networks, and neuromorphic computing
- Proven track record of deploying production-scale AI systems handling >1B transactions
- Familiarity with ISO/IEC 42071 AI governance frameworks and EU AI Act compliance
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ industry-disrupting AI projects from concept to deployment
- Security clearance eligibility for government collaborative projects (DOD/DOE level preferred)
