Responsibilities
- Develop 2026 technology roadmaps for quantum-AI convergence and neural interface integration
- Lead cross-functional sprints to prototype predictive maintenance systems for critical infrastructure
- Partner with neuroscientists to advance brain-computer interface safety protocols
- Design ethical frameworks for autonomous decision-making in high-stakes environments
- Present innovation strategies to C-suite executives and government innovation councils
- Manage $5M+ R&D budget for emerging tech incubation programs
- Mentor PhD researchers in applied AI ethics and responsible innovation
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Cognitive Engineering, or Futurism with 8+ years industry experience
- Proven track record deploying production AI systems at scale (TensorFlow/PyTorch mastery)
- Published research in IEEE or Nature on quantum machine learning applications
- Deep expertise in neural network interpretability and bias mitigation frameworks
- Experience with DARPA or EU Horizon innovation grant processes
- Advanced certification in AI governance (e.g., IEEE P7000 series)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ industry-disrupting AI implementations
- Fluency in ethical AI policy development (OECD, EU AI Act compliance)
