Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 2026 technology roadmaps for AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Lead scenario planning workshops to anticipate societal and market impacts of emerging technologies
- Architect ethical AI governance frameworks for autonomous systems and neural interfaces
- Partner with VCs and startups to identify and integrate disruptive innovations into our ecosystem
- Present strategic foresight to C-suite executives and government innovation boards
- Manage $10M+ R&D budgets for future-focused pilot programs
- Publish white papers and thought leadership on 2030 technology trends
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Cognitive Science, or Futurist Studies (or equivalent experience)
- 10+ years in AI/ML development with 5+ years in strategic foresight roles
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies (e.g., generative AI, quantum)
- Deep expertise in ethics frameworks for autonomous systems and AGI
- Experience with scenario planning tools (e.g., Delphi method, horizon scanning)
- Published research in top-tier AI/convergence journals or conferences
- Strong network with DARPA, IEEE, and global innovation ecosystems
