Responsibilities
- Design AI architectures for 2026 societal challenges (climate adaptation, neural interfaces, post-scarcity economics)
- Lead scenario planning workshops with Fortune 500 executives on AI disruption timelines
- Develop ethical frameworks for autonomous systems and human-AI symbiosis
- Create predictive models for geopolitical shifts driven by quantum AI adoption
- Prototype immersive AR/VR experiences for collaborative future envisioning
- Publish thought leadership in Nature Futures and IEEE AI Ethics journals
- Mentor PhD candidates in emerging technology ethics at Stanford partnership
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Cognitive Science, or Futurism with 5+ years AI research
- Portfolio demonstrating predictive models for technological singularity scenarios
- Expertise in quantum machine learning and neuromorphic computing
- Published work on AI alignment problems and value alignment protocols
- Experience with policy development for autonomous systems regulation
- Fluency in Python, TensorFlow, and causal inference frameworks
- Deep understanding of transhumanist philosophy and post-human ethics
- Track record of securing DARPA or EU Horizon Europe grants
