Responsibilities
- Design novel quantum machine learning algorithms for complex optimization problems
- Lead research on quantum-resistant cryptographic protocols
- Develop AI models to interpret quantum simulation outputs
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to reduce quantum error rates
- Publish findings in Nature/Science journals and present at IEEE conferences
- Secure $1M+ in annual research grants through innovative proposals
- Mentor PhD interns in quantum-AI integration projects
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, AI, or Computational Physics (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years developing quantum algorithms or deep learning architectures
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or TensorFlow Quantum frameworks
- Published research in quantum machine learning or related fields
- Experience with high-performance computing clusters (HPC)
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum information theory
- Track record of translating theoretical models to experimental results
- Exceptional problem-solving skills for unsolved computational challenges
