Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely load and unload furniture, appliances, and boxes onto and off moving trucks, ensuring items are secure.
- Customer Assistance: Assist customers with packing, wrapping, and protecting fragile items to ensure a damage-free move.
- Equipment Operation: Efficiently operate dollies, hand trucks, and furniture sliders to maneuver heavy items through tight spaces.
- Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized work environment and keep moving equipment in excellent condition.
- Communication: Provide exceptional customer service and communicate clearly with team members and clients.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy objects (50+ lbs) repeatedly throughout the shift and stand for extended periods.
- Driver's License: Valid Driver’s License (Class D) with a clean driving record is preferred.
- Reliability: Punctual and dependable with a strong work ethic.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Adaptability: Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions and adapt to changing schedules.
