Responsibilities
- Lead the definition and execution of the 2026 technology roadmap, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Oversee the research and development of emerging technologies, including AI, Quantum Computing, and advanced blockchain integration.
- Build and mentor a high-performance engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, including product management, operations, and executive leadership, to prioritize initiatives.
- Manage the technology budget and ensure optimal resource allocation for R&D projects.
- Identify and mitigate technical risks associated with experimental technologies.
- Establish architectural standards that ensure scalability, security, and performance.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership or director-level capacity.
- Proven track record of delivering complex, large-scale systems under tight deadlines.
- Deep expertise in distributed systems, cloud architecture (AWS/Azure/GCP), and machine learning frameworks.
- Strong understanding of emerging tech trends and the ability to evaluate their business viability.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
