You'll lead high-stakes research initiatives, guide executive decision-making, and shape our global technology adoption strategy while mentoring next-generation innovators.
Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon-scanning research on emerging technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, neuro interfaces) and publish quarterly strategic foresight reports
- Develop patent-pending innovation frameworks for technology adoption beyond 2025
- Lead cross-functional task forces to evaluate and integrate breakthrough technologies into core business operations
- Present technology roadmaps to C-suite executives and board members with data-driven impact projections
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and national laboratories for cutting-edge R&D
- Mentor junior futurists and curate the company's future-tech knowledge repository
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Technology Forecasting, Systems Engineering, or equivalent field with 8+ years in strategic foresight
- Proven track record of identifying and commercializing emerging technologies (portfolio required)
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (e.g., AI ethics, quantum applications, climate tech)
- Exceptional data visualization and scenario planning capabilities using tools like Foresight Platform or Scenario360
- Certification in Technology Foresight (e.g., WFS Certification) or equivalent
- Demonstrated experience presenting to Fortune 500 leadership audiences
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed foresight journals or industry publications
