Responsibilities
- Culinary Leadership: Direct and manage all kitchen operations, including menu planning, recipe development, and cost control to maximize profitability while maintaining high standards.
- Staff Management: Recruit, train, supervise, and schedule kitchen staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Quality Assurance: Monitor food preparation and presentation to ensure every dish meets our luxury standards and guest expectations.
- Inventory Control: Manage food and beverage inventory, ordering supplies efficiently to minimize waste and reduce costs.
- Certifications: Ensure all kitchen staff hold valid health and safety certifications and comply with local health codes.
- Event Catering: Collaborate with the events team to design and execute menus for banquets, weddings, and corporate functions.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar executive chef role within a luxury hotel or fine dining establishment.
- Culinary Education: Associate degree or certification from a culinary school is preferred.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food safety regulations (HACCP), and kitchen equipment.
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead and motivate a diverse kitchen team.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Flexibility: Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
