Responsibilities
- Check-in/out guests efficiently using PMS systems while maintaining accurate records
- Manage reservations, room assignments, and billing inquiries with precision
- Resolve guest complaints promptly with empathy and creative solutions
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure seamless operations
- Process payments and manage cash drawer responsibilities
- Act as local tourism ambassador providing recommendations for attractions
- Maintain security protocols for guest safety and property protection
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year hotel front desk or customer service experience
- Proficiency in Opera, Cloudbeds, or similar property management systems
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Basic math skills for cash handling and billing processes
- Valid Virginia driver's license (for occasional errands)
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Must pass background check and drug screening
