Responsibilities
- Manage seamless guest check-in/check-out processes using Opera property management system
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests with exceptional problem-solving
- Process payments, manage room assignments, and maintain accurate billing records
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure operational excellence
- Upsell hotel amenities and services to enhance guest satisfaction
- Maintain a clean, organized front desk environment
- Execute emergency procedures and security protocols
Qualifications
- 2+ years of hotel front desk or customer service experience
- Proficiency in property management systems (Opera, Fidelio)
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Valid Oregon driver's license (if required for errands)
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Basic knowledge of Portland attractions and services
