Responsibilities
- Greeting & Orientation: Welcome guests warmly upon arrival, manage check-ins and check-outs efficiently, and provide a comprehensive orientation of hotel amenities and local area attractions.
- Guest Assistance: Act as the primary point of contact for guest inquiries, answering questions regarding services, dining, transportation, and special requests with a focus on personalized service.
- Operations Support: Assist with concierge services, manage room assignments, and coordinate closely with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure room readiness and high standards.
- Problem Resolution: Address guest complaints or concerns professionally and calmly, escalating complex issues to management to ensure swift and satisfactory resolution.
- Front Desk Operations: Answer multi-line telephones, manage incoming mail and faxes, and maintain accurate guest records in the Property Management System (PMS).
- Event Coordination: Support the setup and execution of banquets and events, ensuring a seamless experience for our high-profile clientele and corporate partners.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience: Previous experience in hospitality, customer service, or front desk operations is preferred but not mandatory for entry-level candidates.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal communication skills and a professional, approachable demeanor are essential.
- Adaptability: Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends, holidays, and evenings, with a willingness to adapt to changing priorities.
- Technical Proficiency: Basic computer literacy and familiarity with hotel software (e.g., Opera, Micros) are a strong plus.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights (up to 20 lbs), and perform physical tasks related to guest support.
