Responsibilities
- Efficiently manage guest registration and departure processes using PMS systems
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve complaints with empathy and professionalism
- Coordinate room assignments and special requests (VIPs, accessibility needs)
- Process payments and manage billing discrepancies accurately
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams for seamless operations
- Execute upselling strategies for room upgrades and hotel services
- Maintain security protocols for guest information and key systems
- Assist with concierge services and local area recommendations
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year front desk or customer service experience in hospitality
- Proficiency with hotel management systems (Opera, Fidelio)
- Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environments
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Valid Pennsylvania hospitality certification preferred
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Basic knowledge of Philadelphia attractions and transportation
