Responsibilities
- Guest Relations: Welcome guests with a warm, professional greeting and assist with check-in and check-out procedures efficiently.
- Communication: Manage incoming calls and emails, answering inquiries regarding room availability, local attractions, and hotel services.
- Problem Solving: Address guest concerns and complaints with patience and empathy, escalating complex issues to management when necessary.
- Operations: Accurately handle billing, process payments, and maintain the front desk area to ensure a welcoming atmosphere.
- Concierge: Provide recommendations for local dining and entertainment to enhance the guest stay.
- Administrative: Update guest profiles and handle registration cards in our Property Management System (PMS).
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in hospitality, hotel reception, or customer service is preferred.
- Education: High school diploma or GED is required.
- Skills: Excellent verbal communication skills and a professional phone manner.
- Flexibility: Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
- Technical: Proficiency with computers and hotel software (POS systems are a plus).
- Appearance: Professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
