Responsibilities
- Efficiently check in/out guests while maintaining accurate records
- Manage reservations, modifications, and cancellations via hotel systems
- Process payments, handle cash transactions, and reconcile daily reports
- Address guest inquiries promptly and resolve complaints with professionalism
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams for seamless operations
- Perform nightly audits and prepare shift reports
- Uphold brand standards through attentive service and facility maintenance
- Train new staff on front desk procedures and systems
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality certification preferred
- 1+ years customer service or hotel front desk experience
- Proficiency with PMS software (e.g., Opera, Cloudbeds)
- Strong cash handling and reconciliation skills
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution abilities
- Flexible availability for rotating shifts (days/nights/weekends)
- Basic knowledge of local attractions and services
- Ability to multitask in high-pressure situations
