Responsibilities
- Check guests in and out efficiently, ensuring accurate registration and billing information.
- Manage reservations and room assignments using industry-standard Property Management Systems (PMS).
- Act as the primary point of contact for guest inquiries, providing exceptional customer service and resolving complaints promptly.
- Maintain the cleanliness and professional appearance of the front desk area and lobby.
- Handle cash transactions and credit card processing with strict adherence to security and compliance protocols.
- Cross-train in other hotel departments, including concierge services and bell operations, as needed.
- Assist in coordinating special requests and VIP arrivals to ensure a seamless stay.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in Hospitality or Business is a plus.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in front desk operations, hotel management, or customer service preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and hotel PMS software (e.g., Opera, Micros) is required.
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on hospitality.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and a professional appearance.
