Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional guest service through check-in/check-out processes, reservations management, and personalized assistance
- Manage room assignments, key distribution, and billing inquiries with precision
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and security teams to ensure seamless operations
- Handle guest complaints and resolve issues promptly to maintain satisfaction
- Utilize hotel management systems (Opera, Fidelio) to manage occupancy and availability
- Maintain accurate records of guest preferences and special requests
- Assist with concierge services and local area recommendations
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of hotel front desk experience in a luxury property
- Proficiency in property management systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Valid New York State hospitality certification preferred
- Fluency in English; multilingual skills a plus
