Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests warmly upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Check guests in and out efficiently using the hotel management software (PMS).
- Handle incoming phone calls and emails, transferring messages accurately.
- Process payments and resolve any billing discrepancies or guest inquiries.
- Assist with concierge requests and provide local recommendations.
- Respond to guest complaints or issues promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area and lobby.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in a front desk or hospitality role is preferred but not required.
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and hotel PMS systems (e.g., Opera, Front Desk Pro).
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving abilities.
