Responsibilities
- Check in/out guests efficiently while maintaining accurate reservation records
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and requests with professionalism
- Process payments and manage cash/credit card transactions
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams for room readiness
- Operate property management systems (e.g., Opera, Fidelio)
- Assist with VIP guest services and special event arrangements
- Maintain security protocols and access control systems
- Prepare daily reports for management review
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality certification preferred
- 1+ years front desk or customer service experience
- Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
- Proficiency with reservation systems and office software
- Ability to work flexible shifts (nights, weekends, holidays)
- Basic math and cash handling accuracy
- Multilingual abilities (Spanish/Polish a plus)
- Valid Illinois driver's license (if required for property errands)
