Responsibilities
- Greet and Welcome: Provide a warm and professional welcome to all guests, checking them in efficiently and ensuring a smooth check-out process.
- Guest Relations: Address guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with empathy and urgency, escalating issues to management when necessary to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Communication: Manage the front desk telephone system, take accurate reservations, and relay messages promptly and professionally.
- Security & Access: Monitor building access points, verify identity, and maintain a safe and secure environment for guests and staff.
- Administrative Support: Process payments, handle cash and credit transactions accurately, and maintain accurate guest history records in the Property Management System (PMS).
- Concierge Services: Provide local recommendations and assist with travel arrangements to enhance the guest experience.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in hospitality, front desk operations, or customer service is preferred.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; prior hotel management or hospitality school training is a plus.
- Skills: Proficiency in MS Office and Property Management Systems (e.g., Opera, Micros) is essential.
- Demeanor: Professional appearance, excellent verbal communication skills, and a positive, energetic attitude.
- Flexibility: Ability to work various shifts, including weekends, holidays, and nights as business needs require.
- Language: Bilingual candidates (Spanish/English) are highly encouraged to apply.
