Responsibilities
- Check guests in and out efficiently using our Property Management System (PMS) such as Opera or StayNTouch.
- Respond to incoming phone calls, emails, and in-person inquiries with a warm and professional tone.
- Handle guest complaints and special requests promptly to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Process payments accurately and manage the front desk cash drawer and petty cash.
- Assist with room assignments, key management, and luggage handling as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting reception area at all times.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure room readiness.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; previous hospitality experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service.
- Proficiency in computer applications (Microsoft Office) and hotel PMS software.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a busy front desk environment.
- Professional appearance and a positive, can-do attitude.
- Basic knowledge of local area attractions and services is a plus.
