As a member of our front-of-house team, you will be the face of our hotel, ensuring every guest feels valued and comfortable from the moment they arrive. Responsibilities
- Greet and Welcome: Provide a warm, professional greeting to guests upon arrival and departure, ensuring a positive first and last impression.
- Check-In/Check-Out: Efficiently manage guest registrations, process payments, and issue room keys using our Property Management System (PMS).
- Guest Relations: Address guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with empathy and professionalism, escalating complex issues to management when necessary.
- Operations Support: Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area, lobby, and public spaces to meet our high aesthetic standards.
- Communication: Handle incoming phone calls and emails professionally, relaying messages and providing accurate information about hotel amenities and local attractions.
- Security & Safety: Monitor surveillance cameras and follow all safety protocols to ensure the security of guests and property.
- Administrative Tasks: Perform daily cash balancing, prepare nightly reports, and complete any additional duties assigned by the Front Office Manager.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in hospitality, hotel front desk operations, or customer service is preferred.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a friendly and approachable tone.
- Flexibility: Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficiency with computers and hotel software (e.g., Opera, Micros) is a plus.
- Professionalism: High school diploma or GED required; a degree in Hospitality Management is a strong plus.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate amounts of luggage or equipment.
- Attitude: A genuine passion for helping others and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
