Responsibilities
- Greet and Welcome: Provide a warm, professional welcome to all guests and assist with check-in and check-out processes efficiently.
- Guest Communication: Answer incoming calls, manage emails, and respond to guest inquiries regarding local attractions, dining, and hotel services.
- Reservations Management: Process new reservations, modify existing bookings, and update the property management system accurately.
- Payment Processing: Handle cash, credit card, and check transactions with a high degree of accuracy and adherence to security protocols.
- Issue Resolution: Address guest complaints or special requests promptly and escalate issues to management when necessary to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Front Office Maintenance: Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area, lobby, and common spaces.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in a front desk or guest services role is preferred; entry-level candidates with strong customer service backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Technical Proficiency: Ability to learn and operate hotel property management systems (PMS) and reservation software quickly.
- Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work various shifts, including weekends, holidays, and evenings as required by hotel operations.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
