Responsibilities
- Check guests in and out efficiently, ensuring all necessary paperwork and payments are processed accurately.
- Respond to guest inquiries via phone, email, and in person with a focus on exceeding expectations.
- Manage reservations, room assignments, and special requests to optimize room inventory.
- Handle cash and credit transactions with strict adherence to company security and accounting policies.
- Maintain a clean and welcoming lobby area and assist with concierge services as needed.
- Resolve guest complaints or issues immediately and escalate to management when necessary.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure room readiness standards are met.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; hospitality degree preferred.
- Previous experience in a front desk or guest services role is highly preferred.
- Strong computer proficiency, including experience with Property Management Systems (PMS) such as Opera or Micros.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (Spanish fluency is a plus).
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends, holidays, and nights.
- Professional appearance and demeanor with a positive attitude.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift light boxes or equipment.
