Responsibilities
- Provide warm, professional, and efficient check-in and check-out services for all guests, ensuring a seamless arrival experience.
- Manage reservations and room assignments accurately using the property management system (PMS).
- Act as the primary point of contact for guest inquiries regarding hotel amenities, local attractions, and dining options.
- Handle cash transactions, credit card processing, and balance the daily bank drawer with precision.
- Address guest complaints or issues immediately and escalate to management to ensure total guest satisfaction.
- Assist with concierge services, including coordinating valet, transportation, and special requests.
- Maintain a pristine and organized front desk area and lobby environment at all times.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required; hospitality or hotel management certification is a plus.
- Previous experience as a Front Desk Agent or in a similar customer service role is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a friendly, approachable personality.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and hotel reservation software (e.g., Opera, Micros).
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate amounts of weight (up to 25 lbs).
