Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized check-in/check-out experiences with warm professionalism
- Manage reservations and optimize room assignments for maximum occupancy
- Resolve guest inquiries promptly with creative solutions
- Coordinate seamlessly with housekeeping, maintenance, and concierge teams
- Process payments and maintain accurate financial records
- Execute upselling strategies for premium room categories and amenities
- Utilize Opera PMS software with precision and efficiency
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year hospitality or customer service experience
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Proficiency in property management systems (Opera preferred)
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
- Valid California driver's license (for occasional errands)
- Basic knowledge of Oakland attractions and transportation
