Responsibilities
- Check in/out guests efficiently while maintaining warm, professional interactions
- Manage reservations, room assignments, and billing operations
- Resolve guest inquiries and concerns promptly with exceptional service
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance departments for seamless operations
- Process payments and maintain accurate financial records
- Act as hotel ambassador, providing local recommendations and information
- Execute safety protocols and emergency procedures as needed
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year hotel front desk or customer service experience
- Proficiency with hotel management software (Opera, etc.)
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends/holidays
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Strong attention to detail and multitasking abilities
- Basic knowledge of Chicago tourism and attractions preferred
