Responsibilities
- Efficiently manage guest check-ins/check-outs using hotel management systems
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve issues with professionalism and empathy
- Process payments and maintain accurate financial records
- Coordinate with housekeeping and security teams for operational excellence
- Monitor security systems and respond to emergency protocols
- Manage reservations and room assignments for overnight guests
- Prepare end-of-shift reports and handover documentation
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality certification preferred
- Minimum 1 year front desk or customer service experience
- Proficiency in hotel management software (e.g., Opera, Propertyware)
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours
- Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and extended shifts
- Basic knowledge of Fresno attractions and local services
