Your Role:
You will be the first point of contact for our valued guests, setting the tone for their entire stay. We are looking for someone who possesses a proactive attitude, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
Responsibilities
- Guest Relations: Greet all guests warmly and professionally upon arrival, ensuring a seamless check-in process and a memorable first impression.
- Operations Management: Efficiently manage the front desk operations, including check-outs, room key issuance, and accurate cash and credit card transactions.
- Communication: Answer incoming calls with a polite and clear demeanor, transferring messages or directing calls to the appropriate departments promptly.
- Problem Solving: Address and resolve guest inquiries, complaints, and requests in a calm and solution-oriented manner to ensure total guest satisfaction.
- Administrative Support: Maintain accurate records of guest stays, handle mail and package deliveries, and manage lobby signage and information displays.
- Shift Coordination: Adhere to the scheduled shift work, including weekends and holidays, to ensure 24/7 coverage of the lobby.
- Standards Compliance: Uphold and model the company’s high standards of cleanliness, safety, and hospitality at all times.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in hospitality, front desk operations, or customer service is preferred.
- Education: High school diploma or GED is required; some college coursework in hospitality or business is a plus.
- Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Property Management Systems (PMS) is highly desirable.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Interpersonal: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with guests quickly.
- Availability: Must be available to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Appearance: Professional appearance and grooming standards consistent with a hospitality environment.
