Responsibilities
- Execute all front desk operations during the night shift, including check-ins, check-outs, and room assignments.
- Perform the nightly audit function, balancing accounts, posting charges, and ensuring financial accuracy.
- Conduct regular security patrols of the hotel premises to ensure guest safety and asset protection.
- Respond to guest inquiries and requests promptly via phone, email, or in-person to ensure a seamless stay.
- Manage the reservation system and handle wake-up calls or special requests efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area and lobby.
- Collaborate with the day shift team to ensure a smooth handover of information.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; hospitality or business degree preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in front desk operations or night auditing in a hotel setting.
- Strong proficiency in property management systems (PMS) such as Opera, Micros, or similar.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Certified Night Auditor preferred but not mandatory.
